MB Aerospace Group adds Kate Collins and John Kozma to Senior Management team

MB Aerospace is today delighted to announce the appointments of Kate Collins as General Counsel and Company Secretary and John Kozma as Vice President of Procurement.

Based in East Granby, Connecticut, Kate will assume responsibility for all aspects of MB Aerospace’s legal functions across North America and Europe sites and will report directly to group Chief Financial Officer Gregor Goodwin.

John will be based in Warren, Michigan, with a remit to support the procurement strategies of all MB Aerospace units in North America and Europe, reporting directly to Chief Operating Officer Keith Dabbs.

Welcoming Kate and John to MB Aerospace, Chief Executive Craig Gallagher said: “The appointments of Kate and John are another significant boost to the group’s senior management team, following the recent arrival of new non-executive chairman Dan Heintzelman as well as the acquisition of Centrax Components (now MB Aerospace Newton Abbot).

Kate Collins has a deep track record as a corporate attorney in the aerospace industry and joins MB Aerospace from a senior role at Day Pitney LLP.  She previously worked as Associate Counsel for United Technologies – Pratt & Whitney as well as being Assistant Secretary to the IAE International Engines AG, one of Pratt & Whitney’s multinational joint ventures.  Kate graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 1998 and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2005.

Gregor Goodwin added: “Kate has a track record of providing expert counsel to leading aerospace and industrial global corporations and I’m confident she’ll add real value to MB Aerospace in the coming years.”

Taking up her post on Tuesday, 31st May, Kate said: “The chance to join MB Aerospace at this stage of its development is a significant professional opportunity and I’m delighted that the company has chosen me for this role. I look forward to making a telling contribution in the coming years.”
